Christ – The faith of Christians

In the first book of The Holy Bible ‘Genesis’ tells that God created heavens and earth in the beginning and from the following verses we could understand that He only created all creations through His Word. When we compare it with The Gospel according to John 1, we could come to the perfect understanding that our Lord Jesus Christ was God with God the Father and He only created all things according to the will of God the Father.

Directly speaking, God the Father do not act directly but He performs all His activities through His Son our Lord Jesus Christ, and so from the beginning all things, which were created or to be created, should have been made through and by our Lord Jesus Christ (Revelation 21:5) so that all creations should worship Him (Hebrews 1:6). This plan is not made according to the will of any man or any angel, but it is made by God the Father Who is in Heaven (Matthew 11:27 & Matthew 28:18) and therefore, our Lord Jesus Christ is the Creator of the heavens and the earth (John 1:10). He only formed and created first man and woman called Adam and Eve from the dust of the ground and walked with them in the Garden of Eden. He only walked with Enoch and He was the One Who spoke to Noah to construct an Ark to save him from the great flood which washed away all the living things on the face of the earth. He only, according to the will of the God the Father, chose Abraham and reestablishes the relationship between God and man through his descendants and their faith in Him. This same fact is mentioned in the book of Gospel according to St. John stating, “God (the Father) so loved the world (us) that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him (Jesus Christ) shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). So, we are directed to worship only ‘The Creator’ our Lord Jesus and this alone makes God the Father well pleased (John 6:29). Therefore, we are expected to have faith by knowing our Lord Jesus in a right manner and worshipping Him alone could glorify God the Father.

When we acquire this kind of faith, by the pure grace of God, God expects us to grow and stand firm in it (John 6:29; Matthew 24:13). Dear friends, we must have the knowledge of Christ correctly because He is the Way, the Truth and the Life and without Him we can not reach God the Father (John 14:6). That is, without Him it is not possible for us to be blessed physically, mentally and spiritually by God. As He Himself alone is the everlasting life, it is very important for us to know Him well, to have complete faith in Him and to worship Him. Therefore, whoever believes in The Lord Jesus Christ has eternal life, but whoever rejects Him will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on Him (John 3:36).

When a question comes into our mind that how we could understand our Lord Jesus Christ, there are two answers we can give to it. One is according to the flesh or worldly or intellectual understanding and another is according to the Spirit or spiritual understanding.
