Do we need the Holy Spirit? Yes, indeed! Then, my dear brothers and sisters in Christ cry out to the Lord Jesus for His Spirit. If we cry out and saying, Oh, the Holy Spirit, come into our heart, He will not come into our heart but instead if we cry out to the Lord Jesus and saying, Oh, Lord Jesus, come into our heart, He will surely come into our heart along with the Spirit of His Father and stay in our heart for ever as the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit or The Comforter will come into our heart and will stay with us, will guide and strengthen us, and He will fill us with the mighty powers and with the wisdom and knowledge and above all He will help us to remain in faith in Christ Jesus which is the will of God the Father.
Therefore, we must understand the Holy Spirit like this!
The Spirit of Christ + The Spirit of God the Father = The Holy Spirit.
The great reformist Late Rt. Rev. Martin Luther, in his hymn No.83 stanza 6, mentioned the Holy Spirit as The Spirit of Two.
There is one more evidence found in the Holy Bible about this fact, for example, it is found in the Gospel according to John, chapter 20 and in the book of Acts of Apostles, chapter 2. According to verse in John 20:22, when our Lord Jesus was resurrected from the dead by the power of God the Father, He present Himself amid His disciples and breathed on them and said, Receive the Holy Spirit. Here The Holy Spirit means The Spirit of Christ because after our Lord Jesus ascended to heaven as promised by Him when all His disciples and followers, who had faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, were gathered together on the day of Pentecost, God the Father showered His Spirit immensely upon them. After receiving this Spirit, they became strong in both mind and body and preached the Gospel of Christ boldly throughout the world. So, we must understand the Holy Spirit as the combined Spirits of God the Father and His Son our Lord Jesus Christ. But if we say that we are living in the age of the Holy Spirit and not preaching our Lord Jesus Christ only and not ready to receive the Spirit of Christ in our hearts, the Holy Spirit will not be given. In the Holy Bible nowhere we can find a verse like Come Holy Spirit but there is a verse saying, ‘Amen. Come Lord Jesus. (Rev 22:20).
Call on the name of the Lord Jesus only!
Receive the Holy Spirit into your hearts!!
Reach the heaven at the feet of God the Father!!!
I am writing this statement to make you understand that only after you accept the Lord Jesus as your Lord God and the Savior whole heartedly, you could receive the Holy Spirit through Him and reach God the Father in heaven. Lord Jesus Christ is the only anointed Holy One by God the Father to be worshipped as God of heavens and the earth and we are called by God the Father to exalt and magnify only His wonderful name to glorify God the Father. We must realize that when we worship Lord Jesus, we are worshipping God the Father and when only after receiving His Spirit we could receive the Holy Spirit from God the Father, and God the Father calls us to receive our Lord Jesus in our life whole heartedly. Except our Lord Jesus, there is no God for us.
Therefore, Lord Jesus is the only true God given to us and He is our Only Savior and Redeemer. He is the only Holy One Who makes us to stand before God the Father in the Day of Judgment. He is the giver of the Holy Spirit and He is the Way, the Truth, and the life. Except the name of our Lord Jesus, no other name is given to be worshipped under the earth, on the earth and above the earth and for this reason God the Father put the seal of approval on His only Son our Lord Jesus Christ. So, let us exalt and worship the name of our Lord Jesus only and live a meaningful life on this earth to reach God the Father.
In the Old Testament period, Lord Jesus revealed Himself to the people of Israel through Moses in the name I AM WHO I AM and in the name JEHOVAH. Therefore, Jesus is Jehovah and Jehovah is Jesus (John 1:1-3; John 20:28; Hebrew 1:2; 1 Peter 1:20; 2 Peter 1:1; 1 John 1:1 Revelation 22:13; Matthew 22:45; Matthew 28:9; 2 Corns 4:5). As God the Father exalted Lord Jesus Christ to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11), we are expected to utter the name of the Lord Jesus Christ only by God the Father. Jehovah is not the name of God the Father and moreover the name of God the Father is not mentioned anywhere in the Holy Bible. There is no way is given in the Holy Bible to worship God the Father directly without the Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:6) and if we worship God the Father directly, He will not accept our worshipping, instead the wrath of God the Father will come upon us because He is the One Who gave the commandment to Moses to worship His only begotten Son (Jehovah as referred in the Old Testament) through our Lord Jesus Christ (Exodus 20:2-6 and John 3:16). The Holy Bible is clearly stating that we should worship our Lord Jesus, only according to the will of God the Father and not for any other reason (1 Corn. 12:3). Lord Jesus Christ Himself said, No-one can come to Me unless God the Father has enabled him. (John 6:65).
